On a personal note, Iris loves nature and exploring new hiking spots in beautiful Queensland, especially the rainforest.


After moving from a coastal city in China 10 years ago, Iris has lived in four different states in Australia, and finally settled down in QLD.


Iris appreciates meeting new people and getting to know different cultures through her travels.

Iris is a warm and empathetic psychologist who values a person-centred approach. She has experience working with a range of presentations among adults and adolescents in different settings, including Mental Health Hospitals, Private Practice, Secondary Schools, and University Psychology Clinic.


Iris works with Adolescent clients (age 16 and older) and Adult clients.

Iris tailors her therapy from a range of evidence-based interventions to suit each client’s needs and therapy goals. Iris is particularly interested in helping people explore and evaluate their automatic patterns of feelings, thinking, and behaviours. She is currently working towards obtaining her certification to become a certified Schema Therapist. She utilises experiential psychotherapeutic techniques such as Chairwork and Imagery in her therapy sessions with clients.

Iris is a bilingual clinician. She is able to provide services in both English and Mandarin.
